Snøhetta at Milan Design Week 2024

Join us in Milan for Design Week from April 14th to 18th. During the week, we are part of three new product launches and attend several events around town. Stay tuned for more information in our social media channels as we get closer to Design Week.

Array – Modular Sofa System

Together with Italian furniture manufacturer MDF Italia, we have designed and developed a modular sofa system challenging the constructional norms around soft seaters and offering flexibility and comfort in a more responsible way.

Void – Terracotta Tiles

Together with Italian tile manufacturer Fornace Brioni, we have developed a new modular collection of 3D terracotta tiles.

Volum – Floor Lamps

MATTER by Snøhetta

Swiss bathroom company LAUFEN will be exhibiting at the Salone del Mobile with a new brand presentation by Snøhetta. Entitled “Matter”, the design concept explores the tactile allure of the natural raw materials of ceramics, alongside the metallic elements of the fittings, and dramatically contrasts it with the innovative sophistication of LAUFEN’s high-tech manufacturing and design ethos.

The dynamic interplay is vividly brought to life for visitors: the raw materials of ceramics and fittings are represented by wall panels crafted from clay, plaster and brass, evoking a sense of nature and warmth. Amidst this backdrop, LAUFEN’s latest bathroom collections command attention, displayed on towering, industrial-style shelving.

In a commitment to sustainability, LAUFEN’s exhibit is designed with a circular approach, ensuring as many materials as possible are reused within Milan or designated for subsequent applications. This dedication to material lifecycle is a shared ethos between LAUFEN and Snøhetta, which has placed sustainability in architecture and a sensitive approach to landscape and resources at the centre of its work since its foundation.
