Snøhetta's Powehouse Kjørbo project achieved a rating of Outstanding on the BREEAM Sustainability Assessment.
The project is the world's first rehabilitated net-zero energy building and the first rehab building outside Great Britain to achieve the BREEAM Outstanding classification.
Powerhouse that is a long term research study in collaboration with the University of Trondheim and ZEB, the Research Centre on Zero Emission Buildings, to re-evaluate the Norwegian building codes and regulations, improving sustainability across the industry.
