The Resilient Green City Keynote

Robert Greenwood, Partner and Director at Snøhetta, will hold a keynote lecture at the London Design Festival on 17 September. 

His keynote will address the following topics: 

  • Designing spaces and places that create dynamic urban environments and enable whole community engagement
  • How are cultural institutions supporting the resilience of their local environments in terms of environmental and social sustainability?

Educated in the UK, Robert joined Snøhetta in 1993 to play a central role in the design and construction of the Alexandra Library in Egypt.

He has since had the responsibility for international projects, including the new Shanghai Grand Opera House, the Beijing Library, King Abdullaziz Centre for World Culture in Dhahran and the Shibuya Upper West tower in Tokyo.

He is currently based at the Snøhetta studios in Hong Kong and Oslo with a specific focus on our work in the Asia Pacific region.
