Join ASF on October 30 for a discussion with Craig Dykers and Elaine Molinar of Snøhetta! In this program, Dykers and Molinar, recipients of the ASF Cultural Prize at the 2024 Spring Gala, will discuss the work of their world-renowned integrated architecture, landscape architecture and design company. Author and architecture critic Paul Goldberger will moderate.

Based in New York City and Oslo, Snøhetta have designed numerous landmark projects including the Oslo Opera House, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the Times Square redesign. Their discussion will explore recent and upcoming projects including the Blanton Museum of Art redesign and the La Nube El Paso Children’s Museum, among others. Other conversation topics will include:

  • What is the real meaning of public space in the time we live in now?
  • What is the role of design in shaping human interaction?
  • Is there an ideal public space?
